Missing Friends (Kawan-Kawan Hilang) is the 40th, 41st and 42nd episodes (14th episode according to the 30 minute episode count) of the 13th season of Upin & Ipin.
Synopsis[]
In this episode, Upin and Ipin thought their friends had disappeared. Apparently, Ehsan was stung by a bee. Fizi went to the toilet because of a stomachache. Meanwhile, Mei Mei and Susanti went to save a kitten.
Part 1[]
While buying things for Kak Ros, Upin and Ipin met Jarjit by a tree marked with an X. Jarjit told him that the X marked the presence of aliens and that anyone who teased him would be kidnapped by the aliens.
Part 2[]
Fizi complains about losing Ehsan who is said to have captured an alien after tampering with a tree marked X. This makes Upin and Ipin afraid and worried that the alien threat exists. Then, one by one, Upin and Ipin's friends seemed to disappear without a trace around the gnarled tree.
Part 3[]
Apparently the tree was cut down by Tok Dalang because he wanted to tidy it up, and the friends didn't disappear. Ehsan rested at home because he was injured by being stung.
Plot[]
Part 1[]
Kak Ros was cleaning the house when she was interrupted by Upin and Ipin who were playing with the instant camera borrowed from Susanti. When going out to return the camera, Kak Ros told them to buy supplies at the grocery store with a long list.
Once they were satisfied with their shopping, Upin and Ipin were heading home with heavy supplies when they found Jarjit Singh with a tree marked with a white cross. After being asked, Jarjit warned not to tamper with the cross to avoid being caught by the aliens.
After returning home with the purchased groceries, Upin and Ipin went out again to return Susanti's camera. On the way, they meet Jarjit with Fizi who complains about losing Ehsan.
Part 2[]
Fizi shows a video recording on Ehsan's phone of the events before Ehsan's disappearance after teasing a cross drawn on a tree near the toy hut. Seeing that Ehsan's recording seems to be disturbed by something at the end of the video, Jarjit insists that it is the work of aliens who kidnapped Ehsan, then immediately goes home to take refuge.
Upin and Ipin started to worry about the 'strange events' that happened and wanted to investigate if it had anything to do with the sign of the cross on the tree. Unconsciously, Fizi disappeared from their side. At the same time, Mei Mei and Susanti arrived. Upin and Ipin return the camera and ask them about the sign of the cross on the tree. Mei Mei accused them of vandalism, but was denied. Before they had time to bring up the strange phenomenon, Mail came rushing in.
Part 3[]
Upin and Ipin notice that Mail is transporting white paint here and ask if he is the one who scribbled on the tree. Mail said that he brought paint to paint his room. After realizing that Mei Mei and Susanti were also 'missing', Upin and Ipin dared to tease the tree with a stake, but were stopped by Tok Dalang who explained that he himself staked the tree to be pruned and trimmed.
After Tok Dalang left, Upin and Ipin saw Fizi, Mei Mei and Susanti in the hut and asked where they went. Fizi went to the toilet while Mei Mei and Susanti went to rescue the kitten from the pond. Then they went to visit Ehsan who was lying in the room because he was injured by being stung. When visiting Ehsan, Upin dropped a photo from his pocket. Jarjit picks up the photo and tells that there is a cross in Kak Ros's room.
Meanwhile, Kak Ros wanted to hammer a nail on the sign of the cross in her room but was not careful and fell through the window.
